May Day
Thousands of workers flooded Jl. Thamrin, a main street in Central Jakarta, on Thursday during a rally to commemorate the World Labor Day which falls on May 1. The workers, coming from various labor unions, demanded the government improve the welfare of workers including abolishing the outsourcing system.
